Currently Crushing: Candy Yum Yum

My latest beauty obsession (and obsession, in general) is MAC's Candy Yum Yum lipstick. Yes, it's nearly neon. Yes, it's intense. But I seriously can't get enough. If you've been reading this blog any length of time (or just since last week, actually) you know that I love bright lipstick. This color is so saturated and matte it stains my lips when I take it off. I'm also really fond of the bright coral in Nicki Minaj's Viva Glam collection.

One Vest, Three Ways

Seeing triple? Yep, you should be! When Shelby, Katie, and I were in Atlanta we did lots of shopping. (Come on, put three bloggers at Lenox Mall and what do you think is gonna happen?!) While we were in Forever 21 I spotted this vest and after deciding that we all had to get it the idea of doing this collaboration manifested. Now, we didn't plan on all wearing it over dresses but I love that it turned out that way! This vest is one of those pieces that I want to wear over and over and mix with everything in my closet. It's chambray (which I love) and has just a little detail on the pocket to make it feminine.

DVF Resort Collection

Resort collections may very well be my favorites. Of course, there isn't as much hype surrounding them as the fall and spring collections, but the styles and colors of resort pieces always appeal to me. If I could, these are the clothes I would wear all the time. I'm a compulsive checker of The Cut, so when these images of the DVF Resort Collection popped up I knew I had to feature them. I love the black and white prints with accents of emerald and cobalt, and the classic DVF silhouettes.

Just a few snaps from what's been happening around here lately. I've been spending quality time with my family, taking full advantage of my summer break, and embracing lots of colorful photo opportunities. My Style: Blues

Welcome back from the weekend, everyone! I hope you all had fun celebrating and remembering your dads and catching up on some r & r. My weekend consisted of errands with my mom, church and brunch to celebrate my dad, and lots of photo sessions for upcoming posts! Sometimes all it takes is a great piece of jewelry to instantly bring an outfit to life. Even though this top is full of details - white-to-blue ombre/beautiful stitching - it still required a bold necklace to bring it all together. The Petra Bib from Loren Hope was just the thing to really make it pop. It features a great contrast of turquoise and mint stones in a very Art-Deco arrangement. I love the way it pairs with the boho-style caftan. . .
